9:00 AM — Our first stop is Burana Tower, an ancient 10th-century minaret steeped in legends and tales. We'll stroll through an open-air museum of ancient artifacts and climb the tower, which offers stunning views of the valley. You can buy souvenirs and gifts.
12:00 PM — After the tower, we head towards Chon Kemin National Park. Lunch at a local cafe along the way.
3:30 PM — Arrive at the Chon Kemin Gorge,
an hour's drive from the city. This national park occupies a vast area, along which flows the Chon Kemin River. The gorge enchants with its untouched nature. After arrival, we'll check in and have free time for walks and horseback riding.
22:00 — Overnight stay at a guest house/yurt in Chon-Kemin
Day 2: Chon-Kemin → Kok-Moinok → Son-Kol
8:00 AM — After breakfast, we head towards the Kok-Moinok Canyons through the Boom Gorge. The Boom Gorge connects the Issyk-Kul Basin with the Chui Valley.
11:00 AM — Visit the Kok-Moinok Canyons, located at the exit of the Boom Gorge. These canyons are very popular among tourists, and many people come here every day. This place is famous for its futuristic views, an Instagram-perfect spot for photos and videos. After a short trek, we head towards Lake Son-Kol in the Naryn Region.
1:00 PM — The Naryn Region is the highest and most rugged region of Kyrgyzstan, consisting of the Tien Shan mountain ranges. Kyrgyzstan's largest river, the Naryn River, originates here.
6:00 PM — Arrive at Lake Son-Kol. Son Kol Lake is accessible only by 4x4 or on foot or horseback through mountain passes (Kalmak-Ashuu, 33 Parrots, Moldo-Ashuu, Kara-Keche) from June to September.
7:00 PM — Dinner, then free time.
10:00 PM — Overnight in yurts.
Day 3: Son-Kol (introduction to nomadic culture)
8:00–22:00 We spend the entire day at Son Kol Lake. The lake itself is located at an altitude of 3,016 meters above sea level. For centuries, it has been used as a summer pasture (jailoo) with a unique ecosystem. The lake is 29 km long and 17 km wide. The average depth is 8 meters. Here you can organize lake walks, take photos and videos, and, in warm weather, swim in the azure water. You can also rent horses and ride them. Learn about the nomadic culture of the Kyrgyz people.
Day 4: Son-Kol → Issyk-Kul → Oryol Show
8:00 AM — After breakfast, we leave Son Kol behind and head towards Issyk-Kul.
9:00 AM — The route runs through the 33rd Parrot Pass (Terskey Torpok), an altitude of 3,133 m. This is a high-mountain serpentine road. The name comes from a distortion of the word "turn" by tourists.
11:30 AM — A short hike to Son Kol Waterfall.
2:00 PM — Lunch will be in Naryn.
5:00 PM — After lunch, we arrive at the location where the golden eagle show will be held. An introduction to traditional golden eagle hunting, where a hunter will give a master class.
6:30 PM — After the show, we drive to the village of Bokonbaevo. Free time.
10:00 PM — Overnight in a guesthouse or yurt near the lake.
Day 5: Skazka Canyon → Bishkek
8:00 AM — After breakfast, departure to Skazka Canyon. This is sediment that compacted and turned into red sandstone and clay rocks over millions of years. Because the rocks have different densities, they eroded unevenly. This is how bizarre shapes emerged—towers, walls, "castles," and "dragons," hence the name "Skazka" (Fairy Tale).
10:00 AM — Arrive at the canyon. This is a very popular destination, attracting many tourists year-round. After a walk through the canyon, we head towards Bishkek.
4:00 PM — On the way, a snack at the famous fast food restaurant "Apamdyn Kattamasy." Kattama is a layered flatbread fried on both sides until crisp. Served with fresh sour cream (kaymak) and tea with milk. Other full meals are also available. But most people come here to try kattama.
7:00 PM — Arrive in Bishkek.
